Gerald L. Engebretson

Jerry has been involved in the construction auction business since 1973. He started with ITT Auction Services in Thorp, Wisconsin as a Crew Chief in charge of set up and supervising all auctions. Over the past 31 years Jerry has been employed by ITT Auction Services, H.E. Henderson Auction Company, Kruse International, Nike Sales and has been with Don Smock Auction Co., Inc. since 1998. Jerry has worked with and for Don Smock since 1974. Prior to being in the auction business he worked as a Branch Manager for Thorp Finance Corp. Jerry also served in the U.S. Air Force.

Jerry believes in being honest and up front with all his customers. He lets them know how much he appreciates doing business with them. He is friendly and positive in his approach with each and every customer, making their experience with Don Smock Auction Co., Inc. an enjoyable one. He is a firm believer that the customer is always right.
